This website

getpromptly.dev sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The checkout on /pricing and /buy is Paddle’s: Paddle.js loads only on those pages, and may use its own cookies for payment and fraud prevention.

Payment

Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all orders and processes your payment details, name, email address and billing country under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

The licence service

When you buy Promptly, license.getpromptly.dev stores:

• your email address and name, to send you your key;
• a hash of your licence key (not the key itself);
• the Paddle transaction ID of the purchase;
• for each Mac you activate, an opaque, hashed machine identifier and the Promptly version.

Nothing from the terminal — no commands, output, prompts, answers, file names or hosts — is ever sent to it.

The app

Promptly talks to license.getpromptly.dev only when you activate or deactivate a licence, and when it revalidates an activated licence from time to time. It sends no telemetry. Its on-device intelligence runs on your Mac.

Your data

We use this data only to deliver and check licences and to answer you. We don’t sell or share it. To see it, correct it, or have it deleted, write to [email protected]. Deleting it also ends your licence, because we can no longer check your key.
